Join the team!

Our public activities for 2013 are over…but preparations for the 2014 Fotomarathon are already under way. Until the summer of 2014 we will be concentrating in some important areas: re-energizing our team with new members, looking for locations for the start and the exhibition, and keeping in touch with partners and sponsors. Until then, you can start by keeping your calendar free for 14.June 2014. Registration starts in April already. We encourage you to sign up to our newsletter to stay up to date on all news. In November 2014, the European Month of Photography takes place in Berlin, and we want to participate -with a Mini-Fotomarathon and an exhibition.

To make all of this a reality, we are looking for new volunteers to co-organise the Fotomarathon, especially in the area of graphic design and online communication. We are starting the design of the postcards and posters to promote the Fotomarathon and we are want to improve our presence in social and traditional media. If you are a Berliner by choice, and your German is not totally up to par yet, don’t worry. The team is fully bilingual, and work in these two areas can be done in English, plus, working together with the enthusiastic team can help improve your German. The Fotomarathon is organised exclusively by a group of enthusiastic volunteers, as part of the non-profit association “Verein für Ereignisse e.V”.
